Recenetly my car has been starting and idling at around 500 rmp when its usually at 1000 or so. Its only been doing this for days, but today i noticed the coolant started leaking and when i turned the car on it was idling at 400 and very very rough. I am assuming that these two issues are related. Any help would be great.

 

where is it leaking from? what color is your oil-milky?

 

Any chance coolant going to the throttle body got on your idle air control? But agree with above, coolant leak + bad idle can be blown head gasket.
