i need the best cam for a 350 with good flowing vortech heads. thikin about the LT4 hotcam with .525/.525 lift. don't worry, i owuld get matching springs and retainers. i already have 1.6 ratio crane rocker arms. also, i needa a cam for a 305 LB9 in another car of mine. i know .525 lift is too much , but i need some suggestions! thanx

You have to match the cam to the head and induction system. If you are running a Mini Ram, SuperRam or StealthRam with the Vortec Heads type heads 225/525 is ok. If you are running the stock intake and runners then thats a to big. You have to look at the big picture. A big cam with mismatched parts is not going to make the car any faster. Call a cam company and tell them what you have for a induction system, heads, headers, exhaust, compression ect and they can tell you what works best. It's better to go to small on a cam than to large. You may find you don't need the 1.6 RR's. Hope that helps.
On the LB9 about the biggest would be around 214/430 but again call the cam company. That is a good size cam and it's bigger than what came in the tpi motors.
