Unhappy Name That Problem

Aiight as i said in another post my car runs good when its cold, but after it warms up it runs like shiet. It starts to idle low and throws out smoke from the tail pipes when it gets hot after like 20-30 min of driving. Some times i need to keep my foot on the gas or it will turn off. Call It.

For some reason you are running way to rich, don't think you'll need to change exhaust. However it could be restricted, look to see if you have any bends or crushed pipes anywhere. Your cat could be pluged-up,have a friend rev the motor and watch to see if the cat swells up alot, this will give you and idea if the cat is pluged.

If you don't have a timing light, you take it to a shop. No way you can fudge it.

after you get your timing adjusted, regardless of if it was the problem cut off the cat, the unburned fuel probalbly cooked it, and just consider yourself lucky it didnt warp your headers like mine causing power loss and unwanted bad noise.

does the oil level drop after a while? sound like a case of worn rings..so you get alot of blow by when you step on it.
