i have an 1987 L98 350 and i am looking between plug 1 and plug 3. there is a wire running to a little piece into the block. anyone know what this part is?? also there is a part between plug 6 and 8. this piece is actually a little higher on the engine that the 6 and 8 plug. it looks like some sort of nozle and has no wire or anything going to it. anyone know what this is called? thanks for the help.

 

Did you follow it? Some sort of ground?

 

The sending unit between #1 and #3 is for your temperature gauge. The switch between #6 and #8 is for your secondary fan and should have one wire connected to it.
