my LG4 is comming along :)

No big deal really, but yesterday my LG4 managed to put 3 cars on a T5 92 Z28 TPI 305. :P Cool i guess since my car should have gotten wasted by that Z.

What i was wondering, what should i do next as far as mods? So far ive done a edelbrock performer intake, holley 4160, headers, and cutout. I was thinking maybe a MSD 6a box. what do you guys think?

well first off i would say a cam...

if that is too involved...

maybe some rollerrockers to increase the lift on your stock cam. you could go all out with full roller or you could go cheaper and just get 1.6 stamped roller tip rockers for 1/2 the cost.

have you tried any form of cold air intake, like a dual snorkel? or maybe tb spacer?

how bout pullies to free up some parasitic lose by the accessories?

Man thats sweet, you have to have some modds a 92 should have killed you bad, but I guess there are some freak LG4`s out there I`ve beat a mid 80 5.0L, 86 Z28, late 90 RSX, late 80 Chevy 1500 and a couple others I can`t think of.

For modds I`d get a cam intake and carb with headers but atleast a cam and headers

MSD ignition is a waste of money on your setup. Don't need it, period.

Heads and a cam are now in order. Port and polish your stockers according to the instructions linked at the end of my sig.

A Crane PowerMax 260 or 266, or a Comp Xtreme Energy 250 or 256 for a cam.

James,
700R4 right? What gears? If you're still running 2.73's, maybe you should look for some 3.42's or 3.73's. If not, a cam no doubt.

You're not still running the factory computer controlled distributor are you? If so, you're getting a really weak timing curve from the ECM now that the computer is all freaked out about not seeing the stock computer controlled QJet carb on the engine (i.e. you're giving away big bags of power). An earlier non-computer controlled HEI distributor is a drop-in replacement and will REALLY wake things up, especially when you dial in the timing curve correctly.

I am impressed with that kind of performance from the LG-4. Mine was so slow even with 3.73's out back (my 3.3 olds wagon was .3 better in the 1/8th mile with the same traps) that I got rid of it.
