My car is acting odd....
I know its pretty common for a carb'd car to need to warm up... hell it almost an unwritten rule for most of us, but it leading me to alot of problems.
1) when I go to start my car, it takes a long time to turn over, and almost immediately it chokes.... I figure its the fuel line, but I'm not sure where to start looking for the problem.
2) When I do start it up I have to almost slam on the gas and it causes a hellish high pitch sqweal, I seriously hate doing this, as I know it is unhealthy for the car, but its sometimes the only way to start it.
3) After it does start I always notice a blackish cloud (thin, but noticable) of smog coming from my exhaust, it disapears pretty quick, and it only happens on start up
4) When I'm actually driving the first couple miles, my car drives very hard, like the power isn't getting to the tires, likes theres lag between me putting my foot on the gas and the car actually responding... Heres how it goes:
Foot on gas = It either bogging down and choking, or me putting the peddle in more, and then the car revs up high, and I go peeling out of the parking lot like a postal worker.
5) Plus when I turn the head lights on, the clock on my radio (stock) turns off.... Probably just the battery, but I thought I would ask.
I know it sounds like I should have my camaro tooken away from me by everyone, but its not me, I bought the car like this, you know, to give it a better life, and its just becoming a huge pain in the ***, the last guy who owned it messed it up REALLY FREAKING BAD, little less then just flipping it over in a ditch and kicking it afew times.... It does have a salvaged title, so he might have done that too....
Help, Seriously,
