If cost was a factor, i'd go with the 3" Hooker Cat-Back system. I've heard it on 2 or 3 305 powered 3rd Gen cars and i like it more than the typical Flowmaster setup...Goodluck

For those of us who don't have 500 to spend on an exhaust system, I like the sound and price of Dynomax. It is not obnoctious like flowmaster, and is loud when you open it up.

I hooked up a Borla XR-1 Raceline muffler to my stock exhaust system. Also bought from Borla a 90 deg mandrel bent pipe to make it work,

I too am a big fan of magnaflow. I had both Magnaflow (muffler only) and flowmaster (complete exhuast) on my 305 Iroc. I ended up buying the flow masters because the factory pipes were pretty much dead and needed to be replaced. The magna flow was quiet at idle without any drone, and at WOT it sounded GOOD. BUT, it was a different sound then a Flowmaster is gonna produce.
