ok, so i have a sbc 350 block layin around so i figure ill just build that up as opposed to rebuilding the 305 thats currently in the Z28. now if i build the thing without any of that HEI stuff.....just a mechanical distributer and regular carb, what can i remove from the car electronics wise? id really rather not have all those sensors and crap.

any help would be appreciated

 

when i ditched the quadrajet in my car i also took out every single wire that i could. I stuck w/ HEI and only had the cluster of wires up by the wiper motor w/ the starter wiring and stuff, the wire for the dist., and the temp sensor on the block.

I'm not sure what difference it would make for having an HEI or mechanical dist.
