motor question

motor question

OK i just got a 1986 pontiac parisinne and wanted to use the 305 outta it in my camaro, is this 305 a pontiac motor??, the reason is i have a performor intake that is for a chevy 305 and wanted to know if it would fit, someone told me it is a pontiac motor and im not sure, Thank you

yea the intake will fit....its all GM....which intakes are we talking about? TPI will fit forsure...not sure about the TB/Carb...i don't see why it wouldn't fit..

It has a stock carb on it, 4-bbl, the intake is an edelbrock performer

weren't intakes different from 87+ and 86-pre? becaue if one is newer and the other is older, the intakes prolly won't fit...

I can tell ya this much it isnt the same as a sbc chevy.I have looked at em both and the parisinne motor seems wider atleast the intake does.The manafolds are also diff from any chevy i have ever seen and i have seen ALOT over a 1,000 lol
