Motor mounts

Wow to do motor mounts on this car is ridiculous...

anyway, when i pulled the old ones out, i noticed that nuts to the motor mount bolts have built in washers, and then washers on top of that...why is that? I cant get the other bolts on with those extra washers since I need to go through the spring or k member to mount the nuts to the bolts. Can i just leave these extra washers off?

Re: Motor mounts

Yea, I don't think it would be an issue. Mine didn't / doesn't have the extra washers on.

Re: Motor mounts

i got mine on WITH the washers. i usede RTV to hold them on and reached in with a exendo magnent while my friend stuck the bolt thru and threaded it. it threaded real easy so it wasnt much of a hassle.
also the use of a knuckle and a long extension will be reqd.
