I am looking to put new motor mounts in my car, but when I try to wrench the bolts out they just spin. As far as I know, these motor mounts have not been removed before. Is there clips that the bolts screw into? What's the deal here? Any info is appreciated.....Thanks

 

These bolts are fun, There are nuts underneath. Getting to them requires flexability.

 

And possibly spring removal!

 

From under the car look up into the K-member, near the LCA mounts. You will see nuts up in there. You can remove the LCA to gain easy access, or you can do like I did, and use a quality swivel socket.
