Milodon pan fitting...

I'm looking at getting this pan but I'm not sure if it will create any problems with clearance with headers or anything else.

What do you guys think? Is anyone using this pan?

Thanks, Ken

BTW... I'm running edlebrock headers for now but will be getting SLP's in the near future.

Your best bet would to just buy the pan. Have it under the car to look at side by side with the OEM one. Take it to a junkyard and look at a comparable motor and see what it looks like.

I have an 84 with a 383 and this pan. The pan fit is no problem. But with the pan and header I had to get a mini starter with the solenoid on the bottom. Headers are Hooker Super Comps.

Are the Super Comps the Long Tubes. I've heard of people having problems with the starter/header clearance with LT's before.

You think I would have this same problem with the SLP shorties?

Yes, the Hookers are "pure race" LT's and not designed for a stock fit. I have had no experience with shorties in a 3rd Gen.
