So it is a complete engine with computer minus the opti? screw opti, spend the $$$ for electromotives ignition.

Sounds like the perfect canidate for a rebuild.

 

What do you guys think about buying it across the country though? That's what I'm mainly worried about.

Do some research on the seller if you can. If it's someone from a message board ask around and see if anyone else has bought from him. Ask him if he has any references from past internet transactions. If he's on the up-and-up he won't mind....if he cringes at the request then you know he's a scammer. Also, maybe someone from this board or another board you regularly visit would be willing to inspect it for you....I'd offer if it was nearby.
