Melted Connector

What is this connector, and why is it getting so hot that it melts???

power to feed the blower motor

probably a combination of age in the motor, relay, connections(high draw/resistance)

Someone on thirdgen said blower motor, and one side of the wire goes up in the hvac loom. I will replace the motor and relay. Cheap and easy enough. THANK YOU!!!!
