On a '91 or '92 Z-28 has anyone relocated the MAT senser from the Plenum to before the Throttle Body ? If so any gains ? Does it mess with the computer ? ... AJ

 

I did it on my '90 IROC, there was even a smooth flat circular surface in the side of the filter lid above the radiator that was used on earlier V6 models. I noticed a couple of degrees less knock retard, and it seemed to pull easier. I didn't do a before and after run tho. It's gotta help to stop the heat saturation from the hot metal intake which can make it lean out the mix.
And No, no computer problems.
