MAC Subframe Connectors?

Are MAC Subframe Connectors any good They seam to be like all the others and they are only $134.00 I think i might get them what do you think.

both the mac and the alston look pretty much the exact same. Has anyone tried going to a welder and just asking how expensive it would be for him to just custom fab a set up for you? I would think it might save some money because all it is is a bent piece of tubing that runs the length of the car....

Unless I miss my guess, it would be more expensive for a custom made one to work. The one on the right side is bent around a couple of things. All mandrel bent too. That would require a jig of some sort and custom work costs more to setup than to get it from the supplier who churns out a few a day with the jigs setup already and the equipment bought.
