well it took about 2 months but the lt1 now runs, starts right up and sounds great. I havent been able to drive it yet though because all of the suspension is down im putting eibach prings in with kyb struts, shocks sub frames, control arms, panhard rod with all new bushings. Im so excided. When i go to put headers on the car though i want to get hooker super comps. I know im soppose to buy the thrid gen headers but what do i do about the o2 wire? the 3 gens and 4 gens have different connectors so how would i go about getting the lt1 extenders? thanks

Did you use the stock wiring harness or have one made? I bought a harness from injection technology and it had more than enough o2 sensor wire to go to hooker.

well if its a different length wire that ur refering too then u can always just lengthen it, cut the o2 wire, splice in some new wire and make it longer, easy fix.. good luck

 

The lt1 has a 4 prong plug i think that goes into the o2 sensor, i just spent alot of money on this harness and i really dont want to splice it all up. I was just seeing if anyone knows if i can get the 02 extenders with the 3rd gen hooker long tubes? thanks

irocbob did it take you 2 months cause you took your time on it? And i am from chitown(burbank) too and i am gonna throw an LT1 in my 92 rs so i'll have a lot of ?'s, one simple question for now is, did you use the trans that was in your ride? and did you run into alot of problems?
