Good luck man. Don't forget to use this board whenever you run into problems. It sure has helped me with a lot of my projects.

Wow, $350, rub it in why don't ya

I'm still not sure if you're going to be able to use the harness/PCM. They're not listed but I thought you told me you got them with everything else? Anyway, I've got $315 in all my LT1 stuff, but don't have any injectors...

The intake/rails/rods/pistons all came today. Next on the list is CMotorsports Cam Kit (XE230/236 1.6RR, Etc.)

Have you gotten the aluminum pieces for the LT1 head mods? I'm going to get a piece of ~3/16" flatstock and check things out. I'll let you know how it goes. Our welder is coming in a week or two so if everything turns out A-Okay I'll let send you instructions, pics, etc. Are you having John (www.LT1Intake.com) do the intake mods? I think the prices total to around $250 for what we need done. I'm debating sending the intake to him, or waiting and installing the 4.10's....

Looks like you and me will be the first two running LT1 SBC guys on this third gen board. Heck, I really don't know of any third gen with a setup like this. I know tpi_roc had everything ready but he never installed the heads AFAIK.

Oh and everyone....watch out for James' 305 LT1 Gonna be sick. Not quite as sick as my cammed 350 setup....but still.

Im undecided if i am sending the intake away since my buddy can do the work for me for free....thing is....john knows exactly what to do...dunno if its worth risking losing my intake over saving some money.

and no corey..i havent picked up anything else other than what i just bought...and yes...pics and details would be awesome.

I got ya both beat...

LT1 heads $240

LT1 intake $51

By the way, if you're converting an older SBC to use the LT1 heads and intake, you want to use a TPI harness and computer instead of the LT1 harness and computer. An LT1 harness will have all the wires and connectors for an optispark instead of a normal distributor.
