Works great once I got the air out of the lines. Didn't last as long as I would've liked but it works awesome. I've had it in the car for the last year and daily driven about 25-30K and I just got the throwout bearing back from it's first rebuild.

The what?
The Weir unit doesn't have a slave cylinder, what are you talking about? The Throwout bearing IS the slave cylinder. They combined them into a single unit.

Yeah... That's the slave cylinder. There isn't one in the Weir setup so how would the connector not work? I'm confused what you were trying to do.

OOOh. I see now. That thing pictured is your MASTER cylinder. You needed a 1" bore MC. The stocker won't work. But it's nice to know that the LS1 style throwout bearing will work. I had contemplated that route.

I've got the stock shifter and a shortened shaft and a carbon fiber boot. As soon as I get around to it I'll be ordering a pro5.0. I've heard those to be the best. I've also got a '00 Trans Am console in the car which sits a lot lower than the standard 3rdgen one. (basically nothing hits.

Did you have to modify the radio bezel? You have an engine start button....hmmmm...I had problems with mine also that it didnt want to start the correct way...so I had to put a starter buttom in myself...Was it too difficult to bolt down the console or was it an easy thing? Thx
Re: Ls1 T56 In 89 Iroc!!
My bezel is completely stock, but I have a bird so it's a two piece thing. The 'maro ones car just be cut to fit for an even tighter seam. It was easy to bolt down. Originally I just had some self tappers in there but I tacked a few nuts on the bottom and just use bolts.
