Unhappy louvers smashed! aahhhhhhhhhhhhh

was watching my friends play basketball outside and was thinknig i should move my cars when the basketball hit my rear window louvers and they smashed into 4 peices on the passenger side.
does anyone know if they can be fixed with epoxy, or if i can get another set? do they still make them? it took me a year to find this set. ive only had them on the car for a month! i paid 260$ canadain for them.

OK, well that post is one way to make him forget about his louver problem "hunts for a gear like a basterd jerking the car violently"

yea that does suck tho, which kind are they the 3 piece or the factory style, i like em a lot especially the one piece

they were cragar ones that looked like the 3 peice but there was actually 12 peices. the 2 sides and 10 fins. the sides arried out the lines of the fins to the sides.

and now they are smashed

If you do decide to try an mend them ,what I think what I would try is a patch on the underside with some thin plastic (can get sheets at a hobby shop),and would try that epoxy that you can pick-up at Wally World called "The Plastic Welder"(comes is a suringe/two part),this stuff works well, but when it dries it is a yellow color so you will need to paint after. I have used this stuff on my lawn mower, plastic water valves, and plastic parts on cars and has always worked well, even repaired the wiper blades on my truck three years ago and they are still going strong. I always try this stuff first

That sucks alot, I guess you could try super glueing them togher??. if you do spray them use paint thats meant for plastic and spray them in the sun. I have to tell you though I hate those louvers. But I woulda beat your friends *** if it where me, let me guess he`s not gonna pay for them right. I hope you can get them fixed or get another one good luck

thats the biggest load of horse$hit ive ever heard of. u dont just "barely play" sports and such. slap whoever said that across the face, and if u would like,PM me thier name and phone # and ill gladly cuss them out and tell them how retarded they are for u.

anyway, yes,u can paint it and make it look like its not spray painted. go in a back and forth motion 6-8 inches away. its better to paint it on the underside of the louvers so u dont see that it has been painted if u can get away with that.

hope that helps

LMFAO of course your the dumb *** for PARKING your car lol, I knew you were gonna say that. I HATE when people say it your fault because THEY broke it . and HOW THE HELL do you barley play basketball. see if your so called friend (he can`t be much of a friend giving you that lame excuse) had a brain he woulda asked you to move your car so they could play, see thats what people do that have common sense. .
