does anyone know where i could get a single mandrel bent mid pipe for my 91 RS v8?? i know flowmaster and other companys sell an entire kit with the pipe..but i just need the single pipe inbetween the cat and the muffler. 3 inch pipe needed

 

i doubt you'll find that on the internet...your local muffler shop should be able to do that for a relatively cheap cost...

 

Check dynomax's web site. I found it, and found it local as cheap as Summit.

 

Husky, you can buy dynomax pipes out of summit.

Most local muffler shops can't do mandrel. Most around here don't even know what mandrel is

MAC also sells the pipes separate...you have to call them for the part numbers.

i called on the pipes for my 99z.

and the macs have the bolt flanges on the ends...could be good or bad depending on your needs

 

You might try SLP. I only had a new muffler and tail pipes that I bought from someone, brand new though. Called SLP and they let me buy a intermediate pipe. This was a few years ago when I did the TTA exhaust but its worth a shot. 3" stainless.

 

Most companys that sell a catback will sell a I pipe seporately you just got to find the part number for it. I checked once with Flowmaster and Edelbrock and they both wanted over $100 for one. What I ended up doing was bought the bends and strait pieces from Napa. The pieces all came flared on one end so they all slipped together and I just welded it all together. Total cost,Less than $70.
