If I kept my Accel 8.8mm wires long (I got sent a universal kit and didnt have the tools to cut them properly) and routed them with a loom, would keeping them longer deprive me of any noticable performance as if they were proper length? I mean, they are about one foot longer than they need to be.

If the wire resistance is for example 150ohms/ft, with an extra foot of wire the spark has to overcome twice the resistance.
