lighting prob.

none of my interior lights work any more. not the guages, the console or the dome. i checked all the fuses. they're all good. do ya'll think it's just a short some where. that'll be rediculously hard to find. if ya'll have any ideas of what i should try please let me know.
thanks,
Derrick

guages are separate from the dome....

are you sure all the fuses are good? typically the wiring will last a long time unless the car has been severely mis-used or someone has tampered with the wiring with accessories. do you have any accessories on the car?

The dimmer portion of your headlight switch is likely bad.

Sounds like a bad ground. Hook up the neg end of a DVOM to the negative post and check for current in the dead bulbs.

I'm with 12second on this one. The dimmer portion of the headlight switch is basically a wire resistor with a sliding contact. If the contact gets bent or the resistor breaks/burns through then none of the interior or gauge lights will work.
