We have an excellent drag coefficient with 3rd gens. The Firebird had the best ever produced up to that time.

If you add the TransGo shift kit to the 700r4, it will allow you to floor the pedal in overdrive.

But that is just plum crazy. You have to be an idiot to be driving on public roads at 140 mph You are one short step away from going airborne. And then they just find your pieces to send home to mom.

That is true. I went 174 mph with my 350 and a T5, and the front end of the car started to bounce up and down at that speed. I am lucky I lived through it, next time the suspention will be always a step ahead of the power of the motor.

 

I have had my 5 speed tpi convertible doin' 235 to 240 a few times.I don't think they will do 255 though...
