Yeah the early 90Zs w/ L98s are pretty quick though. I'd love to own one of those and play with it's potential. I just like my LT1 too much

You do'nt have to change the intake to make big power up top

my L98 vs. some dude's LT1

LOL i thought this was awesome enough to share with you guys...even though im not stock and neither was the lt1 i ran

last night i went to the gas station by my house and i see one of my old high school buddies there in a black lt1 z28. i rolled up to him to say hi and he goes "bro do you remember racing a black lt1 down this street?" and he pointed to a street near the gas station... i was like "no. why?" and he goes "cuz i could have sworn i raced you and whored the crap out of you". no matter how much i tried to convince him it wasnt me, he didnt believe me, so i told him "when you leave, tell me if my back lights work". my car's not stock... and i've done more stuff to it that i havn't listed on my sig yet cuz i dont know what times im running with the new stuff... but i guestimated (and honestly) between 14.1 and 13.9. he told me "im not stock dude, you should know that from the other night" but instead of asking him what he had, i wanted to be suprised so i didnt even ask... i just closed the door, waited for him to finish pumping gas, and followed him out of the gas station to run it. we ran from a stop at a red light... off the hole... do i even have to say it? lol i was constantly looking in my rear view mirror though to see if he would creep up to me, but he didn't... i had a good car on him at 60, and i gained just a little more at 100 but that was about it. when i got up to the next light, i rolled down my window and said "you still think you raced me the other day?" and he stuck the finger and peeled off like an idiot, fish tailing everywhere and almost hitting my car. when he left like an idiot, i noticed he had a borla exhaust, but aside from that i dont know if he really had anything else in his car. maybe he tried to scare me by telling me he wasn't stock... lol didn't work.

Dude I SOO love the 91 and 92 effects.
I think, without the big wing on the back, it just looks kinda skinny. Maybe it is just me.

Mechanically speaking, everything is stock with the exception of recently adding an MSD6A and coil.

The guy before me put in some front and rear speakers - I havnt had a chance to really to see what they are. When I bought the car last June, I had put in an MP3 player (identical to the one I have in my truck), but it got stolen a couple of months later.

dj haf what else have you done to that car? That sounds like a nice car. I love the 90 IROCs. They are very torquey cars. Still surprised you took an LT1 w/ catback though, good kill!

ok... here's the deal. i ran a 14.5 leaving it in drive (with all the stuff i have on my sig), not manually shifting, and my tires were spinning like crazy off the hole. i know i'd run quicker if i manually shifted. went and got a new hypertech coil and put a bigger gap on my plugs, ported out my intake and put an air foil in the tb, deleted the smog pump and put a march crank and alt pulley, fixed my shift points (when i ran down the track, my car was shifting too late), and i had an AFPR my friend lent to me, but as of yesterdy, he helped me take it off to put back on his car... it made a difference if you ask me... cuz now i feel lack of power because it's not there lol. oo, and i took off the drag radials off my 67 and put them on the iroc for now...

next thing on my list is an AFPR (probably next week), msd 6al, 52 or 58 mm tb, headers, cutout, gears and a shift kit.

as you can tell, no major mods yet... once all the bolt ons are on the iroc, ill start saving for a rebuild... going to bore and stroke her out for free (it's good to know people sometimes, lol) and build her to take a 200 shot easy... afr heads, nasty cam... should be killer but the future can always change.... hopefuly for the best, lol

im going to take her to the track when i get the afpr and new tires because i really dont want to chew up the tires off my '67... but if you guys had to take a guess at what im running now, what would you think? (lol damn, i told you to PM me, i didnt want to change topics on this post, lol) sorry to the dude who started this post... hope you dont mind me writing this crap lol

EDIT: snap! i forgot to mention i took out my fuel injectors and had them cleaned because i was pretty sure they were clogged with CRAP... the fuel pump went because that was filled with crap, so the fuel injectors must have been dirty - and they were, lol, but i did that after my 14.5 run
