Knock Sensor Swap?
I presently have the original knock sensor bolted on the 305. The pigtail connector is a bit crispy it seems so I need to replace that as well.
The entire '88 intake assembly is going to be replaced with a 1989 350 TPI setup atop the 305 block.
Question: Do I replace the '88 305 knock sensor and bolt in the '89 350 sensor on the 305 block?
The original '88 ECM will be swapped to the '89 ECM I have bought. I sense I might have issues if I don't do this simple swap due to the stock 350 tables in the PROM. I just need confirmation because upgrading to the 350 fuel delivery might cause some eerie problems I won't forsee.
