Alright ive got a 1991 camaro rs with the 305, heres whats done to it borla exhaust,edelbrock headers,dual ram air,k&n filter,short shift kit,3.73 gearing,performance thermostat,and a 3in electric cutout.
Now my problems are that my speedometer is off cause of the gearing but i want to replace the whole cluster with one that goes up to 150mph or so and i want it to be the correct speed.
I'm planning on just having someone do this for me so if anyone would have an idea how much it might cost to get installed it would be nice.
and then im wanting to get an overall tuneup on it wandering what all needs to be done to accomplish this cause all the parts have the motor running a little off not sure exactly what needs to be done.
so any help with this would be nice, prices, how to do it, where to get it,and i dont know where to find a gauge cluster for this camaro?

ive been wondering about power chips and whatnot also such as, jet six pack performance chips, venom 400 performance control modules,jet stage 2 computer chip/modules. which of these would yall recomend for my car or any others that yall would recomend.

get a custom chip written, that would be my route.

 

if i get a custom chip made id need another one after i put a few more parts on wouldnt I ?

 

Just get a new chip burned for the speedometer. Anyone with a custom chip burner and the correct software can do it.

 

so to fix my speedometer i just have to get a chip?

 

Not just a chip, a chip burned for your gear setting. Your car has electronicly controlled speedometer.

 

how much would it cost?and where can i get it?
