Cool Joining the F-Body crowd again! '88 IROC

I'm picking up an '88 IROC tomorrow. It's a 350 TPI, 700R4, 40,000 miles, it's a burnt orange color with tan cloth interior. My brother has owned the car since '92 and he is the 2nd owner. Unfortunately, he's in a financial bind and has to sell the car for what he owes on it. He had the car paid off about 5 years ago, but refinanced it for a loan. Now he's several months behind in payments and needs to sell it for what he owes on it. I offered to just loan him the money to pay it off, but he flatly refused. He just wants it gone and doesn't want to owe me anything for it. I fell terrible for him, but I guess it's too good of a deal to pass up. Only $1,500. I'm thinking now that I'll keep it for a while a do a few mods to make it run better. I remember he took it to the track a few years back and ran a 14.7X at 94 MPH. I'd like to make it a solid 13 second car. Nothing too fast, just so it has decent performace. Anyway, I look forward to hanging out here and learning more about this car from you guys.

By the way, I used to hang out in the LT1 and forced induction forums here. I had a supercharged '94 Z28 before I bought my Corvettes.
