IROC's looking bad at the track
I own a 85 Z28 it`s not bad it feels fast I never gone to the track yet I will this year though but me and my friend timed my car with a stop watch in .4 of a km and it ran 13.4sec I `m guessing 90-100 mph the needle was pointing straight down I have beat a 5.0 mustang mid 80`s from a 2nd gear rolling start
My car should be pretty nice, as well as respectable in 6 months time or a year. Right now though, after 140+K miles, the motor is showing its age. I managed a best of 16.5 with a flowmaster/cutout setup. Pretty stock, but certainly nothing to brag about. I am hoping for 13's someday after I install my 350HO replica. But at least it will turn heads. I'm all about fast cars, its too bad alot of 3rd gens weren't power houses to begin with.

Oh and by the way, just wanted to say, can you believe that Classic Industries is charging 255.00$$$ for an LG-4 Replacement GM cam??? This is the worst cam ever made... I just couldn't believe it.... Had to vent, thanks guys

Aye. It looks like in a few years the trend will be over though.

Thirdgens are cheap to buy, cheap to fix, and are fairly durable. You're looking at another decade of the same, with the bad getting even worse... All the more reason to take care of what you currently have

Man all the bad 2nd gens are done by me. The only ones you see are NICE, like pristine nice unless they're drag-only cars. Its hard to find a ****ty one to fix up nowdays, my buddy was gonna do one and ended up getting a 76 or something, type LT with a 6 cylinder and he still had to give good money for it. Body was straight though, its mighty tough now though
Speed kills.

I just have to keep telling myself that they're all LG4 cars and that helps me feel better.
I say hats off to these guys. There is a lot of other things these guys can get into like drugs and gangs. Even if they think there **** doesnt stink they could be doing a lot of other wrongful things. At least they have found something to keep them out of trouble. And maybe they were just excited being at the track. I know i get excited everytime i go and i have been going since i was 5 years old. So dont knockem at least they are doing something productive and not destructive.
