As I stated belfore ( no such wheel for the 1LE, NEVER) and your friend the seller is full of BS. The Stock IROC-Z wheel was always 16x8 for the years 86-88 and optional 89-90

But if you want to belive his BS go right ahead.

 

First you be me $50 that this is not a 1LE then you go look in the console for the RPO codes then you mail me a money order or paypal me $50 when you don't see 1le on the sheet. Writting it in magic marker doesn't count.

 

Sorry.. I ment factory 215's, not 225's. But he has 245's on his rims.. so they are deff. 16x8's. But either way.. I am sure they would be WORLDS of improvement over the stock 215's. What kind of rubber should I get for them? I need CHEAP.. but GREAT dry-grip, and at LEAST decent wet grip.

 

tirerack sells Kuhmo 711s for $57 a tire. Im running those and so far they seem to be a good tire for dry and wet traction.

 

Hm.. I will look into those! They run in 245's? Thanx man!

 

I don't really like the thread on those kumho's.. plus, I am looking into some kind of AMERICAN tire (lol). Something along the lines of Goodyear, Michellin, or whatever else. Good handling, good dry grip, and at least decent wet grip. Thanx all!
