Re: Intake Upgrades

Yeah, my best friend put a set of aluminum trick flows on his 350sbc Chevelle. They were around $1,200, and trust me, the weight difference is worth it. A set of aluminums weighs about as much as, if not less than, one cast iron head. That extra 200$ is DEFINATELY worth it imo. Not only are you getting better flowing heads, but you are getting damn near 80 pounds taken off the front end. To put that in perspective, that's close to 1/10 off your quarter mile, in wieght alone.

Re: Intake Upgrades

I'll jump into the fracas here, this isn't the cheapest route but I gathered the parts as I could afford them and then put them together,GMPP PFI INTAKE,Vortec cast iron heads assembled(cheap!)Ls-1 throttle body, crane cam,.crane gold roller rockers,I invested in the fuel log setup for the PFI intake rather than trying to backyard technology it,Oh and Adustable fuel pressure switch out of and Lt 1 motor. The most expensive parts were the intake and fuel rails,I bought these before GM had the whole thing as a kit.All in all the car rocks now!!Well not at the moment fuel pump is out.

Do you have a part # or a link for that intake and/or the kit?
