Injector recommendations?

Stock 5.7 TPI in an 88 IROC ... Injectors need to be replaced.

Should I stick with the stock injectors or should I get better flowing injectors? Would I end up causing the engine to run richer?

Future plans do involve performance upgrades.

if you plan to do mods in the future go with the bigger injectors if not stick with the stock injectors, as for the engine running to rich i would think that the computer in your car would fix that problem for you automatically im not completely sure about that!

Actually if you do not have the means to adjust your prom then I would say stick with the 22#ers. You can only do so much as far as lowering your fuel pressure with an AFPR before you need to change the injector constant and such in the prom. If you plan on going ***** to the wall with your building then go out and get the 24#ers or 30#ers.

You could buy in to the program at www.fasterproms.com where they will tune your chip for better performance for $350. Later on if you decide to do more mods, it will be $150. Their chips will be custom to your car based on your current mods, if any. If you have none, they will optimize it for you. Later when you have significant mods, they will be able to do more. This will allow you to go up to 24 or even 30 pph injectors for now. I can say that I was very happy with the work they did on my chip.

Thx for the replies. I am waiting for a programable computer that the previous owner of the car has. I am new to the product but not to the work so I hope there are options to control the output.
