Injector question

Ok Today my husband called & ordered a super chip for my car. & we use Acel Injectors in the car right now. But the guy said go with Ford Morotsport injectors they are better. I checked summit racing & they only had them for 5.0 Rustangs. Will those work on Camaros as well? We are going 30 lb injectors paired up with a HSR system in my 87 Iroc 350.

I have heard by several people that Acels are known for their hyperlocking the engine.

But again Will the Ford Motorsports 5.0s work for my 5.7?

Yes the fords work, but they use a differant rateing than GM as per pounds/liters???what ever,go search at TGO they were discussing this verything awhile back.
I'm sure Thunder raceing could help you there also.

Most people I know run the Ford SVO injectors. That is what I am running on my car and they ran great on my friends Corvette that I got them from. He had to upgrade to larger ones due to the huge turbo he is putting on.

Have him return the Superchip and spend your money on getting a real dyno tune or someone who will take readings and readjust the program till it is just right. I use www.fasterproms.com or Lingenfelter.

The chip is via www.Fastchip.com & I can get it dynoed & Twiked here at a local dyno shop.

The other place I was going to go wanted $500 for the plus another $300 for dynoing the car out & needed my car for a week.

Through Fastchip I only spend $375. (including shipping) Then I can have the car dynoed for $65 alot cheaper.

I'm using the Ford 24# SVO's and my a/f ratio doesn't go above 12:1 until max hp, and I'm making quite a bit (see sig). just my .02.

At fasterproms I get it for $350 and if it requires tweaks further down the road when I make more major mods, I get it for $150. If you have a laptop or access to one, you can borrow their diacom software and do some runs and email them the results and they can make changes all for nothing until it is nuts on.

Thats what I paid via FastChip. Just had to ad an extra 25 for shipping.

Why pay another 150 when I can get the car Dynoed & Toned for $65? at a local shop?
