I hate to tell you this, but a 15.3 is a decent time for the LB9. Part of the huge problem is that your cam is small, your heads are weak, and your induction system just flat out sucks. Add to the fact that you only have 305 cubes.

Check out www.thirdgen.org, they'll teach you how to make that LB9 run 13s!

I'd be happy that you kept up with a turbo 'teg. Unless it was running like crap even the basic kits I've seen put them at LOW 14's and easily into the mid 13's.

Stats: 305 tpi 700r4 75k, went to the track last yr with absolutly NOTHING DONE no 160 thermostat or fan switch even. ranna steady 15.3

NOW: i have put shorty headers on lost my cat, lost the air pump, 4th gen rear end with a ****ty 2.87 or somthin ****ty like that, (but still better cause its posi not 1 tire fire any more) i have the t/b bypass, man fan switch, 160 therm, new plugs, OOOLLLLDDD *** wires that need to be replaced. basic maintence is done trans flush and oil change type stuff. (i also have a 150 wet shot that i haven't had the ***** to shoot yet. i think i'll blow her up)
and for some reason my check engine light is on... can that be from the oxygen pump being removed??

So let me get this straight; you put in SH*TTY A$$ED GEARS, have a 15, maybe 20 year old car, and you kept up with a turbo'd vehicle.. am I missing something

Oh ya, and be sure your O2's aren't shot, and make sure you check out that code!
