im confused...true duals

Well after some arguing between me and my buddy and him getting a broken nose we decided to just go look at my car. He was sure that the camaro i recently purchased had true duals and i wasnt so sure but in the end he was right. Didnt think these existed however we ran into the thought process that if you have the option for the dual cats wouldnt you have to have dual exhaust. Also other question....my exhaust doesnt appear to have mufflers???? About 1/2 way down the car there are these weird little tubes that are all dented in kind of looks like this (___><____><___><____). I think its a glass pack but why would a glass pack have dents in it like that. Any thoughts are great. I need to get this sucker on a lift so i can get some pics.

The mufflers you have are called Chambered Mufflers.
Look at these threads and tell me if this is what yours looks like,

I am not sure how they work, I just know what they are. Willie knows how they work.
