Post Im bad with tire sizes can someone tell me about how big a BF a P295 50 R15 is?

I bought 15x10 Cragar SS's to put on the back and It says those BFs fit a 10 inch rim but I bought the rims becasue I want BIG tires (They look intimidating and I was wondering if maybe you guys could give me an estimate of about how big that tire would be. I think Im gonna take my stock 16inchers and put a set of slicks on them to take to the track.

Thumbs up

They are about 12" wide and about 27" tall. You will have to do some clearancing to fit them but it will look bad-a** and you should be able to hook up really good.

Cool do you think I could get away with just sliding some sir shocks under the rear to get the clearnce needed. I have a 3.73 lim slip rear under it now but I have a 3.55 posi and I think Im gonna get it shortened a little on each side to make them fit under the car all the way becasue I stuck the 10 in rim un the car with no tire just becasue I was bored and it sticks out about an Inch and a half so ill shorten the rear to get it to fit under the whole way.

Ill tell you right now,you will probobly run into the same problems I did with 26 in tire and 3:73 rear, even with SLP runners and hugly ported stock intake I would run outa steam in 3rd before the lights. It seemed to keep pulling to 5500 or so ,but just didnt seem right.I realized it was a prob when I accidently went 2-4/OD and gained 1.7 MPH !

good luck
