i was just wondering what is the proper ignition timing for an 88 iroc with a 305 tpi. when i checked it, i was 6 degrees retarded so i advanced it so now i am at 8 degrees advanced. i just wanted to know what would be a good setting for the street. thanks!

 

8* advanced is a good starting point. U really need a scan tool to read knock counts to determine a good place to keep it but 8* should have you in the ballpark.
