idleing woes see also my post in wanted section

Heres the problem. On my 91 rs 305 at idle it's way too rich thus causing a rough idle. I think it might have something to do with the MAP sensor not getting enough vac. The car has the following mods:ZZ4 cam,1.6 roller rockers, world product 305 sr torquer heads,msd,22# injecters, stock chip for 92TA w/TPI350 auto.TPI off 92 TA,KNfilters, opened airbox, headers,no emissions(smog pump, converters),dynomax exhaust,AFPR. Any thoughts or suggestions welcome

Why are you running a 350 Chip in a 305 car?

Maybe it might help little having the correct displacemnet chip in your car. I also thin that you have to tune the chip mainly due to the CAM and it would help with all the other mods you have.

MAP cars are very sensitive to mods not liek MAF cars where you can get away with some mods and not have to touch the chip.

The car came with a chip the the previous owner burned hiself for the bigger injecters that he had in the car. I had to remove the chip cause it kept going into safemode everytime youd hit a bump or anything that would jar the car(looked kinda shotty, poor soldering). The car revved to high with it plus it was burned for 24#LT1 injecters which are no longer in it. Had a 350 chip handy so used it,figured with the increased air flow movement it might work ok. Think a stock 305 chip would work better with the current MODS?

Talk to the people at www.fasterproms.com and they will burn you a chip that will work. They will ask you to take readings and then you can send it to them. After that they will burn you another chip and you take readings and they do one more burn. That will dial it in perfect.

I'm not sure that a custom chip will cure the problem, checking for vaccum leaks was suggested to me today so i'm going do that first.

Assuming that you have no mechanical problems, a custom chip will solve your problems. If you have mechanical problems, nothing but fixing them first will help.
