Idle Screw...

What happens if you mess without idle screw on the throttle body without disconnecting or doing it the proper way? Cuz i was messin with it a while back and i noticed that after that my car started trippin, holla.

Always do it the right way..now the Throttle Position Sensor is getting a wrong reading...I think it sould be 0.52.-0.54 volts.

The only way to check if the sensor is bad is to put a voltmeter on it. Go get yourself a haynes automotive manual...that has the correct procedure...

i would get mine but its all the way in my garage and its raining like hell

You, my firend, have just screwed up your IAC setting and TPS setting. Do this

Another method is if you have a scanner. You can turn the idle screw till it reads between 20-30 counts in the IAC counts section. Then reset your TPS to 0.54V

I get everything except where i am supposed to put the paper clip...


...Take the paper clip and open it up and form it into a big "U" shape. Insert the clip ends into the ALDL in the 'A' and 'B' pins.


what is the ALDL
