'in you buddy. Heck an L98 (350TPI) only puts down 245. My LO3 (305TBI) only has 170hp and an LG4 (305 Carb) is something like 150hp. These motors sure weren't high performance were they. -Rippin

A 350 would bolt right in, direct swap. All depending on what kind of induction you choose (TPI/TBI/Carb/CFI). If you go carb of CFI, it'd be a no brainer, TPI/TBI would be a pain because of all the wiring/electronics. And a 350 can have 7hp or 1,000hp. It all depends on what kind of heads/cam/intake/exhaust/etc. Once again, it can be cheap or expensive. Are you looking for a used 350, new? We need more info.

whatever would be the best option, used or new. id like to use it as an everyday driver. i dont want to put it up for show. i think cars are meant to be driven, not put on display. id take whatevers best for my money.
I dont think Berlinetta's came with crossfire engines, but I could be wrong. They were V6's or LG4's.
A 350 engine swap will probably cost you about $2000-3000 for the engine depending on what parts you choose, and probably another $500-1500 to install it.
