I think my coil is stock but my distributers not??

I think my coil is stock but my distributers not??
So I was out working on my car today, and as I was looking at the distributer I noticed that the black part on top (the coil right? So i'm dumb sue me 
) said delco something-or-other. Anyone know if that's the stock coil? If it is, would I be better of getting an aftermarket coil for better performance??
