i used to use a ph25 ac delco oil filter for my 305 tpi. now these cars are know to run a bit low on oil pressure at idel i would idle around the red line. the whole time i was running castrol 40 wt with lucas additive and a ph25. Yesterday i changed my oil cause it was due and they dicontiued the ph25 ac delco filter and re designed a ph454 which is shorter. so i whined and cryed buy bought this filter. also some lucas additive and valvoline max life 10 w 40 cause i thought 40wt was overkill. afterwards my oil pressure went up dramatically while driving my oil pressure is above 60 at all times and at idel its at 30 no lower. i recommend trying the redesigned oil filter it works miracles.
