Hmm.. I will look into this "bore Micrometer".. I will see if my old tech-teacher has one; if not, I will call Autozone or something.

there are two normal ways to check the bore, a bore micrometer or a "t-gauge " and a regular micrometer

I should measure (2x each) the top, middle, and bottom of the cylander right? Which micrometer should I use, btw? Which one is more accurate?

A bore micrometer will be the easiest to use, which usually results in more accurate readings.

And yes, 2x measurements at the top, middle, and bottom. (when we say two measurements, we mean take a measurement, and then rotate the tool 90 degrees and measure again).

^Oh.. ok.. I just just figured it meant 2 readings just for accuracy's sake. But Jim already undid MOST of teh tranny bolts; who in the FOCK would put 2 diff. sizes of bolts on the f'in tranny?
