I jerked the ole' 305 out, NOW WHAT?!

I FINALLY got my old drive-train out (motor and tranny). I'm goin' with the LT1 (finally obtained, just haven't picke dit up yet!) 350 from an Patrol Car. Here's my questions (sorry for the length), any help would be GREATLY appreciated. (I have an '89 RS with 305/700R4)
1. can I save my old A/C (THE WHOLE THING) and make it work with the LT1? If not, what do I have to change over? THIS MEANS A LOT TO ME BECAUSE I JUST GOT THE A/C CHARGED FOR $200! (it's the old stuff)
2. do I need the wiring harness from the donor car or can I re-use mine?
3. do I need the ECM from the donor car?
4. will the exhaust manifolds work with the standard Y-pipe?
5. will the 305's radiator, single fan work?
6. will the 305's engine mounts work?
PLEASE GIMME A HAND! Thanks a ton!

Re: I jerked the ole' 305 out, NOW WHAT?!

i dont see why not, You might have to switch the motor mount(maby) i dont know about LT1's i havent really studied them but number 4 depends both cars have/had manifolds, (it will work) or headers, (must be same) if you have one and the other, the pipe wont line up, A/c will work, radiator will work, i hope... i got a 71 ss 350 in mine, havent got the headers on to findout.. ECM? like the knock sensor? i didnt hook mine up cause my engine doesnt require it, and smog, i dont have that either... i was wondering, Do you have a garage?

Hope this helps..

I have a garage with a lift and all the tools necessary to do the work. I didn't have any problem taking the old stuff out, it just looks like hooking up all the wires/lines/hoses is gonna be a Goody's Extra Strength headache!

gm high tech magazine is doing this too. its there project snowball.
ac not too sure, harness and ecm will need to be the lt1's, they did headers on theirs so not sure on manifolds, radiator would be a tough call, just swap to dual fans and you should be good, motor mounts are different
