i have a question about with fbody to pick?
I currently own a 87 GTA with a 5.7 TPI, what would be better to build a my 3rd Gen or a 4th gen? If i build up the GTA i plan on getting some AFR heads, either the holley MPFI setup or the TPIS tpi setup, what setup would u perfer for the Intake and plenum setup i see a couple lingerfield, holley, and TPIS but which is the best of them? and i probably plan to super charge it later on with a Procharger. Can only TPI cars with serptine setup be super charged? Thanks
I'd do it to the current car. It is cheaper to insure and what not. That is, if the body is in good shape. I use the LPE intake and find it good for low rpm (sub 4000 rpm) range. I would not have a problem later on sticking a Vortech on it. I like my LPE/Accel Superram Intake system all the way from the TB to the manifold. If I had to choose again, I'd go LPE first, TPIS second and skip the Holley. It is too new and untested.
