your egr prolly needs to be replaced, wont effect performance much but it wont pass a smog test like that

EDIT : it says in ur sig u have a stealth ram? that means you dont have an egr? u should have had that code for a long time.

 

Code 32 means your car is in self-destruct mode.

 

i havent had egr for almost a year now and the stealth ram has been on since late august/early september all without it throwing a code, so i wouldnt think it would be that??? i guess im gonna get a scanner on it to find out.

 

Don't sweat it, its just because you don't have an EGR. You should only get an SES when driving on the highway.

 

ok, well i go to school about an hour away from me. i come home every weekend so i put about 100 highway miles on every week. i went all last semester doing that, and no light, why would it come on now?

 

Code 32 appears when the computer feels like the EGR is not having the correct affect. If you weren't getting the code, then your computer didn't feel like the EGR was broken. Or you just didn't notice the SES light before.

 

Kinda hard not to notice the SES lights in our cars, lol. When it comes on at night, I need to put on sunglasses.

P.S. I can't get rid of my code 32 either on the highway. I have tested everything, and replaced everything in the system anyways, clear down to the ecm and prom.

 

Everything searched on code 32 for OBDI is EGR related.
