I fianally picked out a setup for my 383 tell me what you think
Well after 3 years of building my 383 (I`m poor 
) I finally have a setup for it, it should be done before next summer 
specs:
350 4 bolt main
Scat 9000 3.75" cast steel crank
Scat 5.7" forged rods
KB hyper pistons 0.30" over flat tops w/ valve relifes
Compcams magnum 300AR solid roller (I don`t have the cam yet)
dur 300 @0.050 255 .575 lift 110 LSA 3000-7000rpm
Edelbrock Bowtie Victor jr
1 inch spacer
GM high performance cast iron 2.02 Bowtie heads, 62cc chambers
1.52 Compcams Pro magnum rockers
750 Barry Grant dubble pumper dual feed, mec. secondarys race carb
Well I have everything BUT the cam and heads I still owe $300 on the heads, is that cam a good match for this engine combo? I should have 10:1 cr when I`m done How much HP do you think she`ll put out I hope 450 or more
I don`t know if it`ll go in the 85 or the 81 Zed yet though, But i can tell ya I can`t wait till summer to bang this 383 though the gears

I envy you man, even if it has taken you 3 years. Living in a small apartment where i can hardly find a parking SPACE let alone a garage pretty much annihilates any chance of me being able to take on a project like that
