I would try it cold first (i've never had any problem),but if you need to warm it up do so,just wear a long sleeve shirt and a pair of cotton gloves. What ever you do, DO NOT put any sealer on it they have an anti sieze on them from the factory.

I just changed my o2 sensor, it took me about 30 minutes. I bought that tool 7/8ths for $15. My Old one was black at the sensor side, it was just really bad, i dont think it was even working any more. It was just terrible. I think it was the one from the factory, i dont think the last owner ever changed it. It seems as if he never paid any attention to anything under the hood just the looks, thats sad.

30 min? took me 5...

tell us if you notice better gas milage with a new o2 sensor... im supposed to be doing better but my milage is still somewhere around 10 mpg if i baby the car in the city... 16 maybe in the highway, lol with all the money i waste on gas, i could have gotten a LS1 lol

I get about 21-22 on the highway with stock inflation and about 15 in the city. 3.73 gears.

I meant anti-seeze stuff. I don't know why I said sealer.

In my 91z, I get around 18.5 in mostly suburban with a little highway, around 17 if strictly suburban driving, and around 24 for all highway.

the o2 sensor comes with anti-sieze... ur not supposed to put sealer on it. it comes ready to bolt in
