Hurst Shifter Install?

Hurst Shifter Install?

I am getting a Hurst shifter for my t-5 and i was wondering what i takes to install it?

You'll need torx bits for the console pieces. Just regular sockets for the rest. The bolts to get the lower shift boot off are oh-so-fun. Then there four, I think, bolts holding the shifter to tranny. Maybe an hour job. Also make sure to use RTV Gasket stuff.

Gasket maker. Comes in a tube, you squirt is around the shifter, where it bolts to the tranny, and it creates an air tight gasket. Just go to Advance Auto, they'll have it. Mine's blue
