Looking at a set of power 02 seats curious how much heavyer they are.

 

With or without lumbar?

I would say ten pounds maybe? nothing your going to notice. Plus their power seats!

 

Went through this with my brother's 87 GTA recently. His seats had power EVERYTHING and weighed 22lb EACH more than a manual seat we got out of an 85 Camaro. We replaced both and dropped 40+lbs out of the car.

 

GTA seats do way more, however comparing manual seats from a camaro to power seats from a camaro is different the a GTA. A gta has lumbar and is probably one of the heaviest seats I have ever seen. Thing is heavy. However the power leather seats from the 95 that I have don't way much more than the cloth manual seats that I did have.

 

Thanks for the info been looking at new seats for my car. Im going to be going after manual seats.

 

how much do power third gen camaro seats weigh with no lumbar?

 

From what I understand the power cloth thirdgen seats weigh more than the power leather seats do from a 4th gen. Also the 4th gen seats can go back three inches more than a standard thirdgen manual seat, and 1" more than a thirdgen power seat.
